Change the scenario, engage stars and a new producer is the recipe of success according to Sudhir Mishra.Despite that producers and film directors affirm usually that their choices of actors are in function of their capacity of doing the role well,actually it's the financial predisposition of the actor that decide if the movie will be made or not.
Sudhir Mishra has chosen Shiney Ahuja, Lara Dutta and Chitrangda Singh for hisnew version of Decdas.He has even get close to the producer Pritish Nandy , when finally he realised that the movie wouldn't be so easy to sell to distributors.So Shiney was replaced by Farhan Akhtar,an actor more famous so the movie would be more rentable.And finally he decided to change the producer, and here appears Farhan Akhtar.
With Kareena Kapoor and Chitrangda Singh as partners, the movie has suddenly apeared as a futur great success. It's really amazing that story was the same.we describe it as political drama.
Finally, when Pritish Nandi has knwon that he will be replaced, he decided to procecute Sudhir Mishra. He explained: " we has known that it was the same scenario , we have prefered to stop procecution because Farhan has a role in this movie".
